Helix and Sequana are back and so is the rivalry. The Engineers vs Lawyers Mock Debate returns for its third showdown and with teams tied 1-1, everything is on the line. Logic vs rhetoric. Precision vs persuasion. Who takes the crown? 

This year's battleground topic will is:

“Brisbane 2032 Olympics — a State’s crowning jewel or an unnecessary distraction?”

The Engineers will be arguing that the Olympics is the State's crown jewel and the lawyers arguing unwanted distraction. Each side will be represented by a trio of experts, with Andrew Chapman, Chief Executive Officer at Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) presiding as adjudicator to keep the chaos somewhat under control.
